Looking back we'll see the summer holiday behind us. Looking in the future we'll see an interesting meetup coming up! We continue with amazing lectures this year.
Since we couldn't manage to organize one in September we decided to jump to October with this one. And...here it is!
The lecture:
Checking permissions is something we do every day. But what if we want to start checking them cross-service? Globally replicated? With millions of requests?
In this talk we discuss how we use Google’s Zanzibar approach to solve this problem.
About Frank Houweling:
Frank Houweling is a software engineer with 15 years of experience in PHP. In his free time he collects historical fruit trees. Also, he’s one of the organizers of AmsterdamPHP.
About the location:
The meetup is held at Senet. Senet provides us an amazing place with food (pizza, vegan as well) and drinks. Everybody is encouraged to attend about an hour prior to the lecture, so we can have a chat while enjoying our food.
Senets nice building is located just outside the Ringweg in the south of Eindhoven, near the gorgeous Genneper Parken. Loads of free parking spaces are available around the building.
About the meetup:
• attending the meetup is free (as in free beer);

• food is available between 18:00 and 19:00;
